Happy weekend!! Today I want to share the last of Wplus9‘s debut stamps: Funky Flowers. I used Melissa Phillips’ photo inspiration for this week. Very fun set! I used a tiny bit of this set on yesterday’s post, stem and leaf, and everything on the card below: I only used a few pieces of this set. Tons of potential I tell you and you can see more samples at Dawn‘s and Maile‘s blog. I am so excited for Dawn and her Wplus9 venture. It was such an honor to have her ask me to join her team months ago. I
Has it been six years? It has it has!!! My little girl is now 6-yrs-old. We’re not doing anything crazy to celebrate. M wanted a party at her school and so we have cupcakes and goodies bags ready. Then this weekend we have plans on going to Kansas City to do some celebrating at her choice of places. I do have a surprise, or two, stops. Hopefully the weather will be nicer. It’s snowing right now. Last night, despite my tiredness, I made her a sweet little card. She’s gotten simple and sweet on me and I thought this card
Well, usually Wednesday is just the middle of the week. Hump day they call it. But today it was a bit more special. First of all I looked at my Google Reader. I haven’t done this regularly in ages. I’ve had to clear a few because I keep hitting 1000+ unread post. They’re not all crafty. Half are work related and them geek folks post every hour it seems. Anyhow, as I was skimming I saw my card and I saw the word: WINNER. I WON, I WON, I WON, whoohoo!! Ok, I’ve won a few things here and there
Last night I got motivated and did a scrap page of M. Plus I wanted to keep taking pictures indoors in low light condition with my new lighting kit (thanks, Drew!!!). If you want to see a better picture of M, check it out in my 365 blog. I haven’t read anything on lighting yet so the light’s not perfect. Even so, I still really love the photos — a lot better than if I didn’t have a light kit! For this page I combined some Melody Ross borders, Prima flowers and butterfly, American Craft alphas, and Making Memories alphas.
Check out Wplus9’s sneak peak! I can’t wait to receive and play with their stamps! Below is a sample of Dawn’s card with the Love Bird set. She has more on her blog so hop on over!!!
I will be joining the oh so fabulous Maile Belles and very energetic and fun Elise Durenberger at Wplus9 as one of their design team!! I am so excited! Do you know Dawn Woleslagle? She’s the person behind Wplus9 and she’s an amazing graphic artist. What is Wplus9? It’s a new photo-polymer stamp company and if you want to get an idea what Dawn’s stamps might be like, well, take a look at this and while you’re there go and see her card creations. Gorgeous crispy clean designs!! I got a sneaky peaky of her stamps, just to make sure
