Happy Happy Monday

Another week and I’m at home just relaxing with the girls while waiting for Mr. Brown. This lens that I’ve been waiting for months was finally shipped from Adorama (I buy from Adorama, B&H, and Calumet). So excited and I can’t wait to try it out!!! Hopefully I can use it decently and share some photos soon! Last night while hubby and I watched loads of Law and Order (my FAVORITE show) I made a couple cards. M was creating me with but she collapsed on the couch after three cards. I had a few card making stuff with me

What A Day…

Hi! I hope you all had a great day! I know I did!! Before I start, to those who sent me some good birthday wishes through the different social media that I’m on, thank you! I really appreciate it and I’m glad you all are in my life! Today I spent with friends and of course my little family. We didn’t do anything extra ordinary but I had a lovely time celebrating my birth. It took me a few days to accept the fact that I’m older (it’s the same every time since I first turned 25 I think) but

Baby Passport Photos

NOT! We’re going to try again! This time with a white blanket over her body. We might hold her up (that’s what we did with M) or we might lay her down. Since we’re doing it at home (there’s no rule saying you can’t as long as you follow the guidelines) we can lay her down. If you all want to make your own passport photo and not quite sure on the sizing, use this site: ePassportPhoto. Upload your photo, select the area (making sure your head is within the green lines) and voila. You can select to download and

The One and Only

Scrapbook page that I did at the 6 hour crop last night. It didn’t take me long to make this page… trimming the butterflies out of a quarter piece of American Craft paper took me 15 minutes. I was just so not motivated!!! SLEEEEEEEEPYYYYYY!!! I went for M, she’s been wanting mommy and M time and visiting with the scrapbook ladies at the crop (she knows all the regulars!). She was happy and that made the time spent worthwhile. Today, I am still tired. Yesterday I got up at 5:30 a.m. (the conference was in Overland Park, a Kansas City

Some AC Love

Today was a busy day! Had a doc’s appt. this a.m. for my six weeks pos-natal and I am oh so healthy. Then I met up with a good friend to check out her 13″ MacBook Pro (thinking of getting a used one for traveling – under $600 preferably – got one?) and browse our downtown stores. Downtown we went to the music store and got info on guitar (for me) and piano (for M) lessons, got new Chuck Taylor for M (she’s been wearing these since she was itty bitty), and the bike shop. Hubby got himself a nice

Lazy Weekend

Hmmm… I have nothing to say, ha! I did but my brain just quit on me (hubby and M kept telling me I have preggo brain). But here’s a card for Kristina’s color challenge #50: brown, red, turquoise, yellow, and white. I love the colors. It’s funny too, I did this color combo just recently too: Mother. I used the same pattern paper for this card, a digital paper by Matahati Designs: Girly Girl. The rest, just bits of things that were on my table: American Craft Moda Bella paper (the yellow leaves) that I trimmed out and chipboard, SU
