Another Christmas Card

Hiya! Just a quickie… here’s a card that we’ll be doing at my SU workshop tonight. It’s simple and not too bulky although I think the knot on the ribbon will require the $.20 extra postage. I did a knot cause it’s easy. BUT, I can see you scrunching up the ribbon and sewing it on to the card or use fabric glue to adhere. I chose to just use one color because a lot of the people in the workshop are new to stamping and many will probably just own a few ink pads and I want to show

Picture Frame

Woah! Is it almost Thursday for me? So long no post! I have just been unmotivated the last few days. All I’ve been wanting to do is louge around with the kids and hub. Plus we’ve been busy too. From listing our house, people looking, to getting my bum in gear so that we can get the kids’ passports taken care of! The card… doesn’t it kind of look like those old picture frame (my frame is an American Craft Thicker)? This SU set is so pretty. I need to use it more!!! The DP, I thought I’d pair a

I Like This Card :)

NOTE: I have a blog candy! No, not that one above. The above was what M made… all by herself!! She did this at the after school program yesterday. It’s a picture frame for a picture that her little penpal, Sofi, made. Who doesn’t know Sofi? If you don’t you’re missing out! She’s Cathy Pascual‘s little girl. Cathy’s an awesome awesome paper and digital crafter – Sofi use to be her main scrapbooking subject but now she has a newbie to exploit {::LAUGH}. She’s been published many times and have designed for many folks. She’s currently a fashionista as SIStv,

Thanks + Christmas {Uber Simple} Card

First of all I want to thank everybody for all the wonderful things you’ve written about M. We really appreciate it and after that incident we had a little talk with her and told her how wonderful she is (without giving her a big head — and M’s pretty down to earth so we’re not too worried there) and that if anybody tells her otherwise she should just smile, say “thank you”, and walk away. We did find out that the after school teacher had a talk with the girl. Did her parents find out? We don’t know, we didn’t

Card and Stuff

Wow, I made a card! I haven’t had a lot of craft time since I started work again last week. Actually I haven’t had a lot of time period! I walked into my craft room the other day and I was so surprised to see it nice and tidy. Even the desk was clean! It felt good making this card but boy, I’ll probably pay for it later this evening!!! So here’s a Christmas card using Dawn’s colors for this week. The card’s inspired by Moxie Fab: vintage and I think it can past for clean and simple too. What

A Little Note

I made a quickie card last night. There’s this imperfect cardstock and I thought it’ll fit this card design and stamp well. What do you think? It’s a clean and simple card which I think is the theme for Moxie Fab’s challenge. Ok, it’s not a holiday card and so I’m not going to add this card to Mr. Linky on their blog but it is clean and simple {::SMILES}. Today I got a weird phone call from Jovie’s daycare. It made it sound like the lady doesn’t want to take care of Jovie anymore cause Jovie would fuss every
