I’m on the SIS Catwalk!

Wow, this was a surprise! But check SIS’s Tuesday catwalk. I honestly didn’t know until I logged in today and saw congrats comments on M’s LO. Remember this one that I did? I saw the congrats and was confused on what it’s all about. I had to post on the forum to find out where this catwalk is and read about what it is. This made my day. I am so happy!! I just signed up with SIS last week. This LO was my first upload. I have no idea why I didn’t sign up there sooner. If you’re into

VSBN Gone Wrong

I hosted my first Virtual Scrapbook Night. My portion went alright I think. I have to thanks a couple ladies for helping and supporting me along the way since the main hostess (who was suppose to guide me since it is my first time) had an emergency dr. visit. Thanks Sally (salstar) and Darcy (arhawg)! Thanks to Pattie (the main host) too for allowing me to guest host and working so hard to get me on track with all the what and how. I had fun and I am excited to see the LO submissions. Now, for my VSBN gone

Pencil Lines Sketch and a Card

Pat in the back to me. I finished a scrapbook page, NOT digital, in a few hours. This is almost record time {::SMILES}. So here it is. This is sketch #72. Isn’t this a lovely sketch? I love it and I love the result. Especially because I got to use one of my current favorite Stampin’ Up! stamp set “Always”, I got to do some doodling, I made my own arrow (after three tries), I also used Time Well Spent butterfly stamp (two stamp set in one LO!), and for the first time I used my SU glitters (see the

My Family

I finally finished my “family” layout. It’s busy but I kind of like it because it represents us… we’re busy people. Even though this LO might have a similar feel with the rest of my LO, I thought it was a bit different. It was a bit outside my comfort zone. First of all I cut swirls out of a whole pattern paper. Never done that before and I kind of like the look and feel of it. I used a lot of rub-ons and I think my digital work has influenced me a lot in this department. I’m also

Grunge

NOTE: This posting isn’t for digiscrappers only. Read on, all. I have no style. I just go with whatever I feel like creating but every so often I get into a grungy mood and I just want to give my LO or card a bit of a distressed grungy look. With scrapbooking/cards you use the distressing tool and some brown ink. For digi, you use some grungy kit, your action, or do it from scratch. I’m working on a grunge tutorial, it’s not what I want to share today. Today I want to share this site. It’s called misprinted type

Altered Mailbox

Look, look, look what I did 😀 This is for M’s birthday. I have three little girls who will be coming to the house for the Princess Birthday Party this Saturday and this is what each will get. I only have 1.5 done but I got too excited that I finished this one that I just want to post before the other two are done. I’m going to confirm the RSVP’s tomorrow so hopefully I’ll have at least three little girls over. M’s already so excited! So here are some picture, front and side (the side picture is in my
