A Pocketful

A Pocketful

M’s school had their Christmas bazaar yesterday. While the bar was a bit slim picking in terms of choices (past events the bar has always been stocked with different types of drinks) I got to taste mulled wine for the first time. I really liked it and plan on getting a bottle next time I go to the store.

Today I have for you day 3 of WPlus9‘s sneaky peakies. I made this card using A Pocketful: Valentine and the matching dies. I LOVE that WPlus9 decided to add dies to their line because the stamps + dies combined make card making more fun and versatile.

For this card I die-cut a pattern paper, stamped the white card stock with the candies and used water color pencils to make the image more glorious. Add a bit of ribbon and sentiment and I have myself a sweet little Valentine card. I can mini versions of this to give out to little friends… or big friends.

I hope you like what you see and after you’re done here, do check out the other DT’s work!

Take care and more later!!

  1. Savitri, Thanks for leaving me a sweet note on my blog – had to check you out! Love YOUR blog! I smiled alot looking at it. Your sweets look perfect (as did your daughters hair for dance)!!! Life throws us challenges (hair cooking sewing) but somehow you manage to get it all done and make it look good in the process! Cheers!
