Afternoon Tea

Afternoon Tea Digital Scrapbook Page

Did you or will you get some crafty or just me time in this weekend? I hope so! It helps me when I do, even when it’s just a tiny bit. That little time to myself makes me feel very good, especially now that I’m staying home with the family. Next month I need to start putting some work time in too, I have an online class that I’m teaching next spring! Very looking forward to that!!! I am hoping for that regular adult interaction… even if it’s virtually.

A few days ago I got to sit down and create this. It’s a very simple page but I like how it turned out. Clean and simple. The best part, it took me 15 minutes to do!!

I think I mentioned in a previous post that I’ve gotten into the habit of afternoon tea since I got here. So now at around 4 p.m. I got to make or buy me something to drink. Afternoon tea isn’t just tea, I’ll do coffee or chai latte, the point of it all is that I sit down and get me a nice warm drink with either some biscuits or a cake. I think it’s my new best habit since going potty in the toilet!!

The above page is a digital page. I used a paper pack from Jessica Sprague’s store: Basically Checked + Striped by in the Making Designs that’s debuting on Monday. I like these types of pages because not only is it nice looking it is also inexpensive to create either with paper, digitally, or hybrid. If you have a nice, favorite, pack of paper with white cardstock you can create something like the above. Most have a sewing machine, whether in a box or just sitting out there collecting dust, and like my page, you don’t have to sew pretty. Actually it’s probably why I like this so much, cause the sewing looks so like me, HA!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend! More later!!!
