Waltzingmouse Sketch #9

Mischief Maker #9

I know, three post in one morning from me. The world must be coming to an end… or Savitri’s turning into a blog nut… ha! Well, all my announcements was suppose to post on Friday, BUT, with Jovie it didn’t turn out the way I wanted it. Yeah yeah, blame in the one who can’t speak, huh? {::SMILE}.

BUT, it’s Waltzingmouse time and the Mischief Maker has an AWESOME sketch for you — there’s a prize too for this week if you play along!

Mischief Maker Sketch #9

Nice, huh?!?! You should see all of the DT’s creations with this sketch!!! GORGEOUS!!! If you’re an active card/stamping blogger these folks are not foreign to you:

For this card I used Waltzingmouse’s Victorian Frippery and Sweethearts. I told you that I LOVE WM’s stamps, right? Well, I LOVE these new sets that I got!!! I know that most craft things takes about a week for me to get nowadays (US to APO shipping) but now WM’s is just around the corner. One or two days — weeeee!!!

So here’s a close-up of the card. I only adhere the tip of the hearts or used dimensionals and curled/bent the edges to give it more of a 3D feel. Unless they’re CAS cards I like a lot of dimensions. The two big hearts on the right, only the bottom tips have glue.

For this card I stamped the kraft cardstock and then tied a ribbon around it. This one came scrunched up already and I think it’s MemMarie’s from Etsy (I’ve purchased from different places on Etsy and they’ve all been great quality) then I arranged the first two left hearts. After that I tied the jute twine (found 225 yards of this on Etsy for $1.25 and $2 shipping, DEAL!!), went around the kraft a couple of times, and made a bow right next and under to the yellow bow. I added a few glue dots to put everything in place. The round stamped image came next (I used Nesties to cut). Adhere the large circle and I pushed it up against the bows a bit to hold them in place better. A 1/16″ dimensional was used for the circle pieces. hen the small heart under the bow came next and the flower was the last thing to be glued here. To the right I placed the two large hearts and the small one as I saw fit.

That’s it! I hope you have a great great weekend!!! I’ll be back tomorrow!
