Dreams…

Well, I’ve been wanting (actually needing — part of being a DT is that you’ve got obligations and deadlines) to do some crafts but the moving thing and Jovie’s wonky (teething) schedule have been taking over. I want to unwind though… I am feeling quite overwhelmed… and figured writing might just do it…

So here I am, pooped from dragging all sorts of empty boxes upstairs from the basement, sipping some hot cocoa (while it’s still chilly out) and thinking about all the exciting stuff that’s going to happen soon. For the longest time I’ve always wanted to live in Europe and wow, it’s going to come true in just over a month! The best part is that I’ll be sharing this experience with a great husband and the two most adorable and sweet kids. I kind of feel like I need to run around our house and yell: whoohooo!!! But I won’t… it’s dark and rainy first of all and I think our neighbors would call the police thinking something is wrong with us here.

I really have no idea what’s in store for us there but I really look forward to each and every one of them. A few weeks ago I was wondering what I’ll be doing there and today I have more of an idea in that department. I can’t share yet but hopefully soon enough I’ll have the courage to tell you what they are. As much as I’ve learned about myself and have an idea of what I can and cannot do, I am hard on myself and I do feel self conscious about me and new things.I also envision a different kind of blog. I’ll still be sharing my paper crafting creations but I want something more. Right now it’s not all that clear but hopefully it’ll be better.

Ok, I guess I’m not that talkative today. Before I go I want to share a picture… or two… my friend said according to the Chinese culture big ears are a sign of wealth. What do you think? My baby’s 9-mo-old and weighing at just a tad bit over 14lbs. She’s petite! I’ve been continuously playing with my light kit. I definitely need another one to even out the light.

  1. I *adore* these photos! I look forward to hearing about your upcoming journey. It will be nice for you to go back in five years and read about all that you were going thru. 🙂 I love how you called Baby J “petite” … I guess my babies would be considered “plus sized” in that case. Lol! 😉

    *hugs!*

  2. ahhhh…nice post…I can hear your wheels turning…thinking…pondering…such a wonderful new journey you’re starting…thanks for sharing it with us…

  3. OK…Jovie is the cutest little baby girl ever! (Carter would be the cutest baby boy ever) ;o) Seriously too cute, kinda, almost makes me want another. NAH! Never mind, it’s gone now. LOL

Remember, things will end up just how they should. Try not to stress too much, but just enough to keep you motivated.

  4. So precious, love the photos and hearing your stories, wishing you the best of luck with this huge move, I’m sure you will keep us up-to-date!! Hugs!

  5. Isn’t it excited to embark on a new journey? I’m really excited for you and all the best with the move!

Oh my!! Jovie is such an adorable baby!! Yes, according to Chinese belief, big ears means good fortune. I have big ears too but not so good on the fortune though, lol 🙂

  6. Awwww, what beautiful photos!! I’m so excited for your upcoming journey! I’m actually quite jealous, I’ve always wanted to live in England! Maybe I’ll settle for a visit!

  7. It’s safe to say that I have known you long enough to notice how excited you are.

It was such a pleasure finally catching up with you and hearing adventure that you and your family are starting to embark.

I remember the time when M came back from seeing her fave Princess from Disneyland. With wide-eyed and such an awe. You remind me so much of M back then. Like a little girl getting (one) of her most desired wish.

So happy to see you so happy and excitement!
