Well, I had my 20-weeks appt. and everything is great. I have gained a whoopin’ 11 lbs, finally starting to show, but not quite fitting into my old maternity pants yet. They’re the pants with buttons on the sides to expand but even the smallest ones are too big still. I think I need to get me some of them band ones. My regular pants are getting too tight… my butt’s definitely getting bigger if nothing else.
This weekend, Saturday, hubby and I have a ball to go to. Oh so exciting. I feel like Cinderella, ha ha. It’s his work’s gala but it’s a special one, it’ll be at a hotel in Kansas City instead of at his work or at my work’s ballroom (aka the university’s student union). M’s going to stay with a good friend of ours and so it’ll be date night with hubs and I. Yeah! It’s been a while since we had date night. It’ll be a big treat before baby comes along!! I wonder if we’ll see this bike as the centerpiece at the gala. Quite the bike.
Ok… a card created using colors from Kristina Werner: Ruby red, pretty in pink, pumpkin pie, and whisper white. Paper’s from Stampin’ Up and the stamp is PTI. The ribbon is recycled from the Pottery Barn Kids – they always wrap their toys in pink polka dot paper and pink solid gross grain ribbon. If you look really close, there are some rub-ons too on the left next to the scallop paper. It came from SU, Love and Happiness. For the 25, I used my Klic-n-Kut die-cut machine.
Love your card – that chunky ribbon with the button are just delightful!
Gorgeous Savitri!!

I love your card!
Its bold but still pretty!
Great card! and I am sure the recipient is going to love it 🙂
fabulous…love the “25”…yup, I wish I was turning 25..lol. Have fun at your fancy smancy ball!
This is gorgeous, sure to be in Kristina’s round up.
Fun card, your friend will love it & no worries about a whoopin’ 11 lbs, LOL. I put on tones of weight with each of my 3 kids & it always comes off after, especially with the consequent kids, you don’t have time to sit down. I remember asking with my first one “is there any way the baby & placenta & guck weighs 60 lbs?” LOL Be well, Amy.
OMIGOSH….this si totally amazing!! Top 10 for sure on this one!!!
Puhleeze about the 11lbs i gained 85 with my first and 65 with my second- it came off no probs!!-well most of it anyways still have that last 10 that I would love to lose, the kids are so worth it though.
love the oversized elements on this card. Great!
Kara
Beautiful! Love what you did with Kristina’s colors! 😀
Cute card! Loved your story about finding out the sex of the baby too! Congrats on another girl! Yeah! I gained about the same with my third by 20 weeks… gaining plenty more by the end, but it was all off by 6 weeks afterwards. Thank the Lord! Breastfeeding is a miracle diet plan! LOL!
Hi Savitri!

Fun card! What about using the Belly Band? My friends have all used it to wear their regular jeans and pants! Not sure which brand, but here is one that I found on Amazon
