Thank You

A little thank you card From me to you. I just want to thank EVERYBODY for their sweet comments and just for visiting my blog. There are sooo many great talented people out there and here you are, visiting itty bitty me. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

This week has been awesome in terms of my craft life. I was card of the week for 2Sketches4You last Sunday and I made it to top 10 this week for Kristina’s color challenge. Just yesterday I received my prize from 2S4Y. OH SO NICE! Lovely lovely kit from My Creative Scrapbook! I’ve never won anything so it was sooo cool! I was like a little kid on Christmas day!

My craft life in general: I’ve had a blog/site for a while but it’s not until late last year (Nov.’07 – when I joined SBS2) that I decided to blog and create regularly. Actually I almost sold a majority of my stamps. I didn’t, obviously, and I’m glad because not only did I find a few styles that I am comfortable with (the influence of blog hopping, challenges, and forums/galleries) and having fun creating but I’ve made so many (virtual) friends that I’d love to meet in person one day (I don’t want to list in case I miss somebody but you know who you are. We visit each others’ blogs regularly and sometimes email/Twitter each other). Creating regularly has also made one dream come true: be published. So yes, I’m glad I didn’t sell my stuff {::SMILES}.

My good (real life friend) thought I’ve been scappin and stampin since I was introduced to the craft. Actually no. I didn’t really do much until 11.07. I was a hoarder a big spender. I bought a lot but I’ve only used a little bit. Crop/stamp night/day was just a great excuse for me to have me time and talk. It didn’t matter if I got a page done or if I liked the card I made. I signed up to be an SU demo just because I loved buying the stuff and I thought that it might get me to do more. Yes I kept buying but no I didn’t stamp more. I rarely have workshops.

What I’ve made in the last 10 months are more than what I’ve done since I knew what scrapbooking and rubber stamping was. It’s been really nice and I have quite a bit of items to show for (M loves all of them and the time we spend doing arts and craft). So thanks for all the encouragements! Whether you realize it or not my blog and all the stuff I’ve shared here have helped me get back to loving this craft, creating and helping me relax from my hectic day job. Have a great weekend and I will be croppin’ tonight. I will be talking but I will have some pages done too {::SMILES}.

  1. Great card! Love that color combo! Your blog and work are awesome, so glad you’re feeling the love, you totally deserve it! I always say, whatever you put out there is what you get back! YOu put out great “stuff” so you get great “stuff” back!

  2. Congrats on all of your well-deserved recognitions! You are so talented, girl! I look forward to visiting you and checking out your latest creations. It’s so nice to have a creative outlet to turn to and a supportive community to share with, isn’t it?
