Tut: The Bookmark Feature in Acrobat Pro
Posted on | February 10, 2009 | 1 Comment
Ok you folks who have Adobe Acrobat Professional and is a demo or Stampin’ Up fan, this tut is for you!
I love my SU paper catty but lately I have been doing my bookmarking and stuff on the electronic version. Why? Cause it’s easier and it keeps my book copy nice and clean. Just check out the video above to know what I mean.
But as a demo or customer using this method can make online information more graphic and easier — less likely to mess up pages and stamp sets {::SMILES}.
Have a great one!
PS: I just checked the Adobe site. You get this feature starting from the Standard version. BUT, if you purchased an Adobe Create Suite bundle or the sort (it’s what I have), most likely you have the standard/pro version of Acrobat.
M + I Worked Out :)

First another M video… Then…
M’s birthday at school was a nice one. All the kids LOVED the goodies and M was all smiles. She was happy to be five, have her momma there, and share goodies with her friends. Everything she chose was all pink but the boys didn’t care. They were cute. After school M got to see her present. This HUGE doll house. M’s 40″ and this thing is 51″. She LOVES it!!!!
K, here’s my card for Kristina’s color challenge. The colors were white, more mustard, so saffron, taken with teal, and old olive. I found some ooooold SU pattern paper in my stash that fit these colors perfectly. I did though mess up taken with teal with tempting turqouise (butterfly). Oh well, close enough, right?
Have a nice one!
M Wants to Say Hello

And show you her work. It’s not uber clear but you can tell how proud she is of her scrapbook pages. I’ll take pics of them later but she insisted that she wanted to share her stories to all my “pretend” friends. She did everything in an hour. She sure beats mom!!!
You can also watch the video in high quality. On the bottom right of the YouTube movie screen is a little HQ icon (or the arrow pointing up under the “YouTube” logo). Click it and select HQ (it’ll turn red).
PS: I love my daughter’s “accent” instead of the word “dollar” she’d say “dollah” he he he…
Tut: Scalloped Edges
Posted on | January 31, 2009 | 4 Comments
Woah, a tutorial!! It’s been a while, huh? This one’s an easy one. Basically it’s learning how to be cleverer than Photoshop, ha! I use this trick to outline a lot of stuff with my magic wand. I use this to create pieces for my KnK too (which I’ll share soon enough… the converting to different extensions is a bit challenging since there are different machines out there). I just dump a solid color (black) to the selected area, save it and import it to KnK to cut.
Here’s a sample layout that I did. See the scalloped piece on the top right? Scalloping is cool. I use it a lot for my paper craft too!
This tut was done in CS3 but the technique/idea can be used in previous versions -- maybe Elements. You tell me.
Well enjoy and hopefully I can get on the video tutorial momentum again. Oh, if you can’t see the video very well or the High Quality is a bit much, go to the YouTube video page. It is though much better looking in HQ. For my tuts I’ll probably stick with HQ even though I figured out all the settings for HD. HQ is clear enough and not as slow.
I’m going to the city. Hopefully I can sucker hubby to take me to Archivers. I forgot to subliminally insert it into his head last night, ha!
Tut: Photoshop Styles
Posted on | September 27, 2008 | 3 Comments
It’s been a while but here’s another Photoshop tutorial. The subject was an email request from one of you, I hope the video helps. My styles file size after saving the two styles: 3kb. I haven’t been playing much with digital and got clueless on what type of tuts to make. So thank you for the suggestion!!
Not sure what the kids (one hubby, one child, and two fur babies) are doing. They left me alone to finish my real estate stuff but here I am blogging. Ok, this will be short, I want to finish so that we can get out of here and have some good times. Laters!
