A Little Breakdown

Well, the girl above, who was so happy to have a sister, wanted her sister to go back in my tummy last night. M was so upset, just crying like crazy because she felt like we were spending too much time with Jovie. In between sobs she said she wanted to be like baby, just drink milk and be carried around. We had a talk but she didn’t want to accept the fact that Jovie needs a lot of care right now. We do spend time with M and we’ve been doing special things for her (e.g. gymnasitcs, the zoo, shopping for big girl stuff, last night crafting) but I do hurry and tend to Jovie when she wakes up from her nap for example. To calm her down both of us came in and planned fun things to do with her… just dad and her or mom and M. Today she’s fine and we’re going to the park and then ice cream with dad (before dinner!!). Friday M and I are scrapbooking with some ladies at church and Saturday her and I might check out a movie. Hopefully M can be patient with us. I told her it’ll get better! Any of you moms experienced something like what M’s feeling? We did prep her before Jovie was born but I guess reality is quite different than what you thought things would be, especially for a 5-yr-old.
So here’s a sister page that I’ve been working on the last few days. The flowers are special! Clouds made them for me (THANKS!!!). Isn’t she awesome and talented!?!?! She should sell these on Etsy {::SMILES}. I love this paper line from My Mind’s Eyes and the apple one from October Afternoon. I did a bit of stamping too: woodgrain (Studio Calico) and SU owls. I used an SU chipboard for the branch and inked it with chocolate chip. The date on the left, I used an American Craft slick surface marker/pen. It was nice. It dried quickly! The rest are just little bits and pieces of stuff from my stash.
Ok, we’re going to get ready to go to the park. Have a great one!!!
