Owl CardIt’s Thursday, yeah!! What a long short week. It’s just been really busy!!

But here’s a card that I made last night after Wednesday card night. Again I had too much coffee and stayed up later than I needed to. Card night was fun though. I’ll show you those cards later. I ended up making my own thing since I couldn’t see the sample, ha!

I used Kristina’s colors for this week, #21, and it’s pasific blue, kiwi, regal rose, rose red, and white. For the owl, I used the digital image from Nancy Kubo again (resized to 3.2″ height). You’ll see this little guy, Al, in another project (besides the one I did the other day). I love him {::SMILES}. The stamp is from A*Muse and the card is actually inspired by Kristina’s baby card (the card before this challenge) except I did a scallop instead. For the scallop, I just used my corner rounder and for the half-circle I used my largest Creative Memories circle cutter tool. The embossing… my Cuttle Bug template did that.

Hope your week has been a great one! G-bye for now.

It Wasn’t Monday

So Bored I thought it was Monday today (I’m writing this Wednesday at a little bit pass 12 a.m.)!! When my friend called me to confirm Wednessday’s card night I thought she was on something, ha ha!

Here’s a card that I did last night. I was feeling it, kind of. A bit on the dull site but at the same time, I think that owl is just the cutest!

Material:
SU purely pomegranate and old olive card stock, October Afternoon pattern paper, American Craft Thickers, Creative Memories letters sticker, SU ribbon, SU punches, and owl from Nancy Kubo (she also has a few super cute stuff that are produced by Prima) that I colored using Copic Markers.

You should check out Nancy’s stuff. Oh so cute! I came upon her blog by accident. Not sure from where really. It’s been a few weeks. From there I got to her store. So I downloaded this and another owl set. I’ve used the colored owl set and the birdie from non-colored set on a layout but I can’t show you it. It’s for SoSketchy. Soon! The next thing I’ll be downloading… this and this… and maybe this and this. Lovely!

Well, I got a big bump on my lip. Emma hit me, by accident, with a full Play-Doh container. Ouch and of course not so lovely.
