My Project Life Organizer

I think, for any hobbyist, the biggest challenge of collecting and gathering tools and supplies is storage. Most people prefer to have all their things organized in a certain way and many people look high and low for the perfect space/storage compartment to house all their goodies. I’m new to Project Life. I did start, well kind of start, last year. But it only went as far as buying. The actually working it was almost non-existent. I didn’t decide to do it until the second week of January and by the time I got supplies in, it was the end

Project Life 2014 – Tools and Freebies

Anybody working on a Project Life album this year? I am!! I downloaded the Photo 365 app on my iPhone and HOPEFULLY by doing this, I can photograph and/or write about each day of 2014! I will also use InstaWeather’s photo feature to document the current day’s weather (only if I think it’s significant, e.g. first day of snow, super sunny day, extreme wind). I was a bit rubbish last year but it was mostly due to not starting at the beginning AND not having anything in stock. I know, I know, not an excuse to not finish but that’s

My First Dolly

I have been having an I’m-so-dang-proud-of-myself moment since I finished Jovie’s dolly. One of her Christmas present from me and one of her big wish on her list. It took me almost six hours to complete this! I think I could have gotten it done in four hours if my sewing machine wasn’t so temperamental. Somebody who’s used to sewing can probably whip it up in two hours! I used this pattern and tutorial to get this doll and after following everything, I got Anabelle. Yes, I think that’s what I shall name her! Check out the little collar. So

WPlus9: Day 3 + Fabric Dolly

This Christmas I really feel like making all sorts of stuff. Whether I get to them is another story but I really am feeling it!! I have a few cute projects that I will share in the next few days but one I am super excited about is this one: A fabric doll for Jovie! And the pattern pieces are FREE! Aren’t they adorable? I am going to make a little Chloe — a short hair doll basically. And hope to get started cutting tomorrow night! I have the pdf files downloaded already. Wish me luck!! I also looked at

WPlus9: Day 2

Hiya! Hope my American friends had a great Thanksgiving weekend! We spent our in Amsterdam this year. We did lots of exploring, visited a few museums and for Thanksgiving dinner, we had our first Rijsstafel. Our mail pick-up schedule got mixed up last week and I just received my WPlus9 goodies today and WOW, another beautiful set by Dawn!! This month’s release is full of LOVE and since I always seem to be making something for the girls, I thought that today, I’d create a little something using the Valentine Wishes set + matching dies for my fab husband. It’s
