Mini Book and Box

We have another gymnast in the house! It’s only been four weeks but Jovie seems to be enjoying it. This is her fifth attempt at organized activity (she’s quit three of them) and I haven’t seen signs of not wanting to go. In the past, it’s usually after the second session that she’ll start to balk. Besides gymnastics, Jovie also does theatre but she really doesn’t like it and only goes because we think it’s something she’ll (eventually) like. Ha ha! I know, we’re so bad! At gymnastics, her and her little friends have many opportunities to earn stickers. She’s been asking

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Just a little love post from me to you. Hope you have a wonderful wonderful day today! We’re not one to celebrate Valentine’s day by going out for a romantic dinner etc but if there’s a special day to celebrate love, kindness, giving, and anything nice, we’re there! I cannot wait for the girls to come home. Again, we’re not having anything super special but a little extra love, yummy cupcakes from my favorite cake lady, cards and decors will make their end of the week (and start of their school break) extra lovely. Take care and I shall

Happy 10-years-old!!

Oh my, how did this ever happen? Our big girl, Emma, is TEN today!! First double digits, which she’s been so looking forward to! This morning we woke her up super early. Super early because dad leaves for work quite early in the morning and we wanted to surprise her together. So after scrambling looking for candles (I know I have some somewhere), we brought cupcakes, 10 tea-light candles on a tray, and presents at around 6:30 a.m. <– yes, this is super early for us who wakes up at 8 a.m. on a weekday. But despite being woken up,

PL Week 1

Whoohoo! Go my cover page/week one done! Now I am working on week two! I have a lot of scrapbooking to do but I am very much organized in terms of keeping track of all the day-to-day highlights/happenings up to day 12! I haven’t been like this in ages — since I didn’t have a job anymore basically — and it’s quite comforting! For my PL, I don’t want to necessarily document every single thing we did everyday. I want to highlight what we/I did or thought of that week. So for my week one, I added two sewing photos,

FREE Organizing/Calendar Printables

This year I have the ultimate goal of getting all sorts of things organized. I have things in different rooms that need to be be out of this house, I have baby toys in Jovie’s room still, clothes in my closet that I haven’t looked at since we moved here and I really want to be able to budget better, manage the home better and not faff about so much or be so last minute. While I haven’t missed any important deadline, often times I’d have to be up until 5 a.m. to complete them. So, to help me accomplish
