Lines and Shapes

When I first saw the Quilt Cut dies I first thought, “What am I to do with these?” I don’t quilt you see and I lack the ability to put quilting patterns together. But then once I used the dies, I saw something else more interesting. Plus, I figured that the other DTs will be quilting and/or making something from the hexagon/petal bits {::WINK}.
So here it is, lots of lines, a bit of swirls, and the leftover bits of the hexagon and petal die. I like {::SMILES}.
Don’t forget to see what the other DTs have in store for you (and comment on Dawn’s post for a chance to win a free set!!) with the dies, Country Charm and Happy Harvest set and I hope you’re as excited as I am about the new releases!!!

I want to share another photo before I go… We went to an independent book shop on one of our trips, Barter’s books, and these were hung above the kids section. It was so nice to just lay there (before and after reading a book to Jovie) and see all the lanterns. So pretty and added to the already fab ambience.

Fabulous! What a fantastic idea to utilize the negative die cuts – this is great!
