Celebrating the Little Things

Sometimes, when nothing exciting seems to happen in our lives, we tend to forget that there is always something to be thankful about and to celebrate even (a few high fives here and there). The last week or two have been like that here. But, I want to remind myself of what we have and what each of us have accomplished the last few weeks.

Jovie is better at potty training
Jovie is extremely polite
M is in the next stage of swimming lessons
We’re so glad M changed gymnastics club
Hubby got a new position
I got to dress up and go on a date with the hubs
We hung out in Norwich

Nothing major, but still, things I want to remember and be thankful for.

I have here a little card using Waltzingmouse’s sketch for this week. I went CAS and Valentine-ish. I know that the exact day to celebrate this has passed but, since we don’t celebrate it, Valentine to us is any day of the year. I did a little stamping, trimming, embossing and ink blotching. I really like how it turned out. I thought it’d be plain at first but the ink made this card fun.
