Favorite Things…

Amy Tsuruta is all over the place. If I need to join a new challenge I just need to hop on her blog and voila (seriously not sure where she gets her energy to create and comment — I only create lately… my commenting didn’t make it to England I think, trying to track it down!!). So today I have this layout to share and it’s cause of a challenge, These are a Few of My Favorite Things: Shoes challenge, with tons of prizes to snag. A lot of times I do challenges just cause, there’s no prize and I still do it. But sometimes there are things that are hard to not try for… like 28 prizes!!
M is such a girlie girl. She LOVES shoes. She now want ballet flats. I told her if she’s good {::SMILE}. Her favorite things are shoes and clothes. She loves toys but if it’s clothing/toys she’d go for clothes. This girl is going on a field trip next week. Lucky duck! To the beach!!! My parents would not have let me go back in the days. Actually I wasn’t allowed even when I was older — high school old. Maybe my face wasn’t as pathetic as M when she asked to go. How could one resist those big begging eyes? They’re like the cat’s eyes in Shrek!! I was always jealous of my friends who went (and talked about the trip for days after) and I can’t bear M to have that same feeling I did. I can’t wait to hear her stories after!!! Speaking of beach, we’re planning a little trip to Dover. Maybe over the 4th of July holiday or one of UK’s bank holiday which is the weekend of the 19th of July. We have little day trips here and there planned but this will be our first overnight one. Can’t wait!!! Going places is one of my few favorite things!!

I used another Pencil Line sketch for this page, sketch 184 and used a hodge podge of different pieces from my stash. They’re old and I really want to use them up. My space doesn’t allow a whole lot of hoarding and there are so many cute stuff out there and that I want to get too.
The pattern paper is My Little Shoebox. The corner rub-on is K&Co and the circular piece is Love Elsie when she was still with KI. The clouds are FUN!! They’re from Sweet Shoppe: Lauren Reid’s The Way We Used to Be. If you love cute sketch type elements check out Lauren’s items. Many cute stuff and many more clouds!! The houses are American Craft and the little critters came from Chatterbox. The owl and apple I found at Borders. I was checking out and there were these cute Kawaii stickers. Grabbed! {::SMILE}. It’s just a bunch of layers down there. Kind of my thing lately. This is why I bought the two gigantic rolls of dimensional tapes (I love the 1/16″ one and it’s only $7.50 for 36 yards — buy a few and make shipping worthwhile!).
I have more Chatterbox stuff and some buttons + Martha Stewart butterflies here and there. Underneath all the embellishments is a piece of paper from the same Lauren Reid kit above.
Okie dokie… that’s it. I am going to go pick up a favorite thing of mine in a bit!!

I knew I loved my AMY T!!!!! I am soooooooooooo glad she sent U to us!! YAYYYYYYYYYYYYY!! And she only gets 5 hours of sleep a night too!! She MUST be my kindred spirit!!!
