Etsy Finds

The great part about my new SAHM gig is that I have TONS more time to browse for whatever on the Internet. The not so fun is that I can’t do a lot of shopping because we still own a house in Missouri but hopefully in a few months we’ll get this housing deal figured out and I can browse and shop. Oh wait, I mean just browse (yes husband, JUST browse).
Today I want to share some wonderful Etsy items that I came across while looking for random crafty goodies. Maybe if you like what I have today I might make this into a new regular blog post. What do you think? Without further ado, here they are…
JuJaCrafts: Wow, BEAUTIFUL flowers!!! These are her original designs. Many many types and colors.
Brown Bird Market: Vintage and French inspired goodies. DELICIOUS!! Ribbons, tags, twine, kits, and more. There are pages of embellishment I tell you!
The Gilded Bee: I am mostly in love with the butterflies (you know I have a thing for butterflies, right?) and flowers in this shop. Just gorgeous!!
Annie42: I just purchased the below twine bundle (175 yards for $6.95!!) today but this store has chipboards, $1 items, and more. Very fun and twine is hot hot hot right now!!
Lemon Tree Studio: If I have an Etsy store it’d want one like this. Just bursting with colors and lots of random craft inspiration!!
Griffith Gardens: Ribbons and more ribbons!! The price is quite good I think and the two I purchased, gross grain and satin are soft and bow friendly (the satin one I haven’t used yet but it’s really nice). Check out the seconds and clearance section too for extra great deals!!
Ok, that’s it for today. Have a wonderful one and if you end up feeding your family ramen noodles because you spent too much on Etsy don’t blame me {::SMILES}. Happy Cinco de Mayo!!!

Hi Savitri, I’ve enjoyed reading your recent posts regarding your move to the UK and am pleased to hear that it’s all good so far. The driving takes a bit getting used to, but eventually it feels natural. I remember when I first did it I always wanted to take the roundabouts the wrong way. A tip to not drive too far on the left, is to use the middle road markings to stay closer to, it is deceiving to judge the width of the car if you are all of a sudden sitting on the opposite side.
Also, I love your Etsy purchases. Now that you are in the UK another great site to check out is notonthehighstreet.com. They have a lot of handmade things too. Nice shops for clothes are Hobbs, Monsoon, Benetton and Esprit. Great department stores: John Lewis and House of Fraser. Another lovely shop is The White Company. (Thought I give you a few things to investigate as I lived in the UK for 7 1/2 years myself).

Add a CommentHey dearie…. great finds! crap… now if I end up in mamak every night with just mee goreng, I’m going to try not to blame you…. .HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA……
Hope you’re having lotsa fun staying at home :)
Add a CommentCool! Thanks for all this fab inspiration (and online shopping sites LOL!), glad to see you are settling in well. Don’t worry too much about driving on the left side of the road (we drive on the left here in OZ), it’s when you try to drive on the right again that you will probably have some issues (I think they drive on the right in Europe), just keep trying, trust me, I’m sure there will be worse drivers than you out there LOL! Ange xx
