Last night I got motivated and did a scrap page of M. Plus I wanted to keep taking pictures indoors in low light condition with my new lighting kit (thanks, Drew!!!). If you want to see a better picture of M, check it out in my 365 blog. I haven’t read anything on lighting yet so the light’s not perfect. Even so, I still really love the photos — a lot better than if I didn’t have a light kit!
For this page I combined some Melody Ross borders, Prima flowers and butterfly, American Craft alphas, and Making Memories alphas. It’s really a simple page. I’m not one to layer because one it’s not my style (I try but can’t get it right) and second it’s just to dang expensive. That’s why my paper pages are pretty simple while my digi pages can get a bit jam packed with embellishments — just cheaper {::SMILE}. The word “open” came from One Little Word. It’s last year’s word, #61. They closed their challenge blog. It was my favorite but things change and people move on. The site is still up though, if you need inspiration!!!
M’s been my little muse for almost 6-yrs now (her bday is Friday!!!!) and because of her I scrap more and when I work her pages I always feel warm and fuzzy inside. Because of this little person I’ve become more patient and no matter how I look or what I do to her (time outs and such) I’m the best mommy ever and she’d tell me how much she loves me still. I love her unconditionally too and it’s a great feeling. I’ve got two now but this little girl made a huge impact on me. Love that little turd!!
Last but not least, hop on over to Dawn’s blog again. If you haven’t bookmarked or subscribe to her blog you should! She’s got more peaks!! Wplus9 is going to be awesome!!!
