When You Can’t Color

Find a pretty paper and stamp the image on it. I think the butterfly looks way better than if I were to hand color it myself {::SMILE}.
Been MIA the last few days. Just A LOT going on. After this weekend it’ll be calmer — maybe — I hope — we’ll see…
This is why I love butterfly stamps (Hero Arts cling stamp). The 3D flying effect/look. I put some shimmers (Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist). You probably can’t see it.
For the butterfly I used the last bit of Quirky Twerp’s Gardenologie paper. The other day I got a shipment from PTI and lookie lookie… background stamps! I wish I had more time (made this card in 15 minutes) but with the time I had I just had to use one of my new goodies. For the sentiment I used a digital wordart by Manda Bean at Sweet Shoppe Designs. I got the Adoption set. Even though I don’t know of anybody who is adopting I think a lot of the sentiments can apply to any. Very pretty!!
I think we’re having hubby’s friends over for dinner. I’m not sure. He’s in charge. We’re kind of weird that way. If it’s his friend he’s in charge of prepping the food if it’s mine or ours it’ll be me. Have a good one!

Such a lovely card! I love that sentiment set, will have to look into that as I’ve had a few friends who have adopted.

Add a CommentCute, cute! I luv that butterfly, about not being able to color—practice makes perfect :D hehe, I should take my own advice for Calculus, hehe. Those PTI background stamps are very enticing, I just got my PTI stamps and I can’t shut up about them, partly because I have been dying to get my hands on the Giga Guide Lines set, luv it! Ok, gotta go to bed, just stole some time to comment in-between my hw hr and sleepy time hrs :D
PS: I wish we wud be at CHA tomm and be able to meet!

Add a CommentAww…now this is really pretty and so charming, it’s softness all over, and there is definitely nothing wrong with stamping on paper…I can’t imagine you not coloring though…I’m sure you are capable of anything!
