Another St. Jude’s Card

I made one more to send to Winter for her St. Jude’s card drive. Kind of neutral, no? The ribbon and bling probably would turn a little boy off he he he…
Ok, so I made a PTI order the other night. I got background stamps so that I can do my card goal of creating my own background paper pattern for my cards this year. Now, I do subscribe to all sorts of magazine’s RSS feeds, blogs, etc. but lately I haven’t been checking them and when I do I get a bit overwhelmed. Just too many out there. My question for you active blog cruisers, besides PTI what other companies do your recommend that has pretty background type images and of good quality stamps? I prefer clear stamps because they’re easier to see when doing this type of work and I prefer images that are different than what PTI has. For example I’ve got polka dots and I don’t need three different types of polka dot stamps… or do I? Please let me know and I’d greatly appreciate it!!!
This card’s pretty simple, SU cardstock, KaiserCraft and Hampton Art stamps, October Afternoon pattern paper, ribbon, button, rhinestones, and twine.

ooh! cute card, so fun and I luv the brown! Ok, about backgrounds, HA just came out with their new Clings- they have some background stamps, but not acrylic. Not sure where to direct you, bummer. SU! also came out with their almost 3X3 background stamps that r cute (Occasions mini 2010), I am eyeing a couple, but again they r wood stamps :( I guess PTI is the only one, hehe. I ordered some stamps too, I ordered the Daily Designs that just came out, it’s so versatile and I like that, ya know, can use it for many cards, and I got the Giga Guide line, man, I’ve been eyeing those stamps for forever, again, a background stamp that I got, well, you cud use it for that, hope u got it too, hehe!
Hugs

Soo super cute, love that owl!!
Add a Commentlove your owlie card….although I’m an active blurfer I don’t think I can point you in the right direction for clear backgrounders…I have a couple from Cornish Heritage Farms…but they aren’t clear…I use my stamp-a-ma-jig all the time…even though I’m a hugely lazy stamper:)
Add a CommentSo cute! Thanks for your help in the drive! I like PTI too, and I really like having the different size polka dots! I have heard the Waltzingmouse Stamps are pretty good, I want to buy some some soon. You can check them out here.
