Whatcha Doin’ for New Year?

The hubby is trying to get me to go out but I’m not sure. We have the MIL and SIL but Jovie gets extra anxious at night and a lot of times even hubby couldn’t get her to calm down. So I’m not sure. He REALLY wants to go out though, especially since we’ll be apart for a little bit during our move. Even if I do go out I’m not sure if I’ll have a good time. M was less anxious when she was this age. Yes she’d be upset but she’ll eventually calm down. Jovie is stubborn and she can go on and on and on. My MIL loves holding Jovie when Jovie lets her but she also gets flustered when Jovie screams her head off. Decisions decisions!
Here’s a little card that I did based on Laura’s sketch #42. I used Dani Mogstad’s kit again: All You Need is Love.
Well, I’m going to go to the city to do some shopping. I’m wanting to hit the outlet malls!

ooooh….have fun at the outlets!!! Hmmmm…free babysitter? I’d say go out for a smidge and see how you feel? I’m hanging out with my kidlets…watching movies and eating lotsa high caloric items…

Happy New Year!
Hmmmm…a night out with the hubby or a night in with the kiddies?? I solved this dilemma for several years by hosting a celebration at home with friends and family. This year is the first time in 10 that we are going out but I must couch that statement by confessing we are taking our eight year old with us. What ever you decide to do have a wonderful time and a Happy New Year!
Add a CommentHmm… I say go out at least for a bit with hubby, since you’re going to be apart soon. I wish dh and I could go out and do something romantic, but I’m getting over a stomach bug/food poisoning thing. Missed our anniversary because of it, too!
And I’ve been meaning to ask, did you come up with a tent solution for Miss M? That post got me wishing I had kids so we could have an indoor tent, lol!
