Let the Torture Begin…

This weekend… I’m going to start doing the p90x workout (if you’re interested check out E-Bay first. Just a bit cheaper). The lean track. If you’ve never heard of it, here’s a video:

My friend went through this program, she’s on day 60 and looks fabulous. I think I only need to do a p30x to get to my goal {::SMILE}.

I’m not going to do everything they ask me to do. I am still nursing and so I don’t want to go to extreme. I just want to start slimming down a bit. I’m going to watch my diet but I’m not going to go strict on it. I’ll adjust as I see fit. I’m not going to keep track of how many I did for each routine either. I am going to do as much as I can and see what happens. I started working out as soon as I was able and I lost 3lbs in a week but my milk supply also decreased. I don’t want that since Jovie’s only 6.5 months and does not like formula. My goal now is to loose five more pounds and acquire a tiny bit of muscles.

My doc said my idea weight is between 108-120lbs (I like this site too for a weight estimate, pretty close to my doc’s numbers). Before I was pregnant I was 105lbs. I liked it but at the same time I thought a bit more would be ok. So I think if I go mid-way and try for 110lbs with more muscles than fat I’d be set.

K, nuff of my weight…

Here’s a card that I did for Laura’s sketch at 2Sketches4You. It’s pretty simple for many reasons… The sketch is simple and lately I’ve been swamped with moving stuff. But, I still wanted a bit of me time and last night I got a bit. The stamp is SU’s.

Hope you have a great one!!!

Yes, be careful! I’ve heard losing more than 2 lbs a week causes your milk supply to go down.

That stamp is gorgeous! Love the blue and the gold-ish color you paired it with. :-) I think you have a good relaxed plan going there for ya. No sense in killing yourself over a few pounds. :-) I never knew exercising decreased milk production, though. That’s good to know for next time around for me… tee hee. :)

So now I’m searching for P90x! I saw an informercial for one called Insanity and it’s a 60 day program….wondering which one! Love your card and use of color choice to make the sentiment pop!

      Hi Ashley,
I’m the friend Savitri was referring to on her post. Maybe I can help you decide which program to get. Since I started this program I’ve been getting a lot of info on the options out there. So based on that, I would go by this:
-low fitness level/sedentary lifestyle: Go with P90. It’s the perfect workout for those really out of shape who need to start from the ground up. It’s challenging and will get you results, but the workouts won’t seem impossible right off the bat. -Medium fitness level/somewhat active: Go with P90X. I cannot say enough good things about this program. If you put the effort into it, there’s just no way you won’t see results. You have to be somewhat fit already in order to get through this workout and it does come with a fit test in order to see if you are ready for the program.
-Medium/high fitness level/active: I have not done Insanity but I hear it’s VERY intense and mostly cardio. Usually people who have finished P90X move on to Insanity.
      I hope this helps!

Love your clean & crisp card…hmmm…that weight site doesn’t take into consideration how many children you’ve given birth to, your ethnic background…come on I’m Japanese, I’m suppose to eat a ton of rice…and genetics….I’m doomed since I’m so short…
