The Sweetest Thing…

I’m so lucky. I can put Jovie down in her crib and leave her there every night. Jovie will sleep on her own. Tonight Jovie lost her binkie — this happens now and then — and I asked M to go up and put Jove’s binkie back in her mouth. I was cooking a late dinner since it was Awana night and hubby just came home from working his 12-hr shift.
The hubby and I got to talking and we realized that the house was quiet. I asked him to go look and he told me I need to go upstairs with the camera. This was what we found (in Jove’s crib):
Emma is such a little momma. In the mornings I’ll take Jovie with me to bed, feed her there and go back to bed together. Hubby goes to work really early and when he gets up he’d usually pick M up and carry her to our bed. When I get up to get ready I’d ask M to make sure Jovie doesn’t get smashed by her and I’d see M doing this. We LOOOOOVE our two girls! Our day might have been long and us parents haven’t been feeling well either… caught the cold bug… but this made our aches and pains go away. Parenthood isn’t easy but little things like this makes the tough time worth it.What little things make you happy?
Last bit… you still have time to do Emma’s challenge and enter the blog candy. Obviously Emma can’t comment tonight, she’s gone to bed, but she will see your creations and comment. She really really loves the commenting. I mean it seriously is helping her write!
