Just Stuff + Christmas

How’s your week so far? Our has been BUSY since hubby’s on a 12-hr shift at work since Sunday!!! We had a great weekend though! Saturday we spent a nice time in Kansas City. We had my birthday luncheon, sushi, and then went to check-out a pumpkin patch at a farm in Liberty, MO. We went there because we heard that they have awesome pumpkin donuts. I don’t care for pumpkins but hubby thought it was great and so he bought 4 dz of them. Yes, 48 stinkin’ donuts!!! Oh, we got into a fender bender too. Dang! Just a hassle that’s all. The girl swore she wasn’t on her cell phone… hmmm… she freaked out when she saw Jovie but really it was just a tap but big enough for me to get my back bumper fixed.
On Sunday Jovie poop’d. Ok, this is a HUGE deal!! She hasn’t poop’d in 4 stinkin’ days!!! The doc said babies can go on poop breaks but still, momma bear here got a bit worried. I think Jove felt a lot better after too cause she asked for a nap soon after that, which is good cause I had a huge mess to clean!!!
My card is pretty simple. I used PaperTrey’s stamps and a little ribbon that I found in my stash. The card stock bottom I distress a bit and on the snowflakes I added some Pink Paislee pixies that I adhere with Martha Stewart’s glue pen. Simple and shimmery {::SMILES}.
Alright, here are some pics of M. No Jovie cause she was on me and hubby didn’t feel like being in the picture (he was too into his donuts ha ha!!).
So here we go again… me playing single mom. It gets tough cause M has activities in the evening and having hubby around really cuts my travel time. I’m so thankful that my work schedule is flexible and it’s ok for me to leave a tad bit early here and there. More later, bye!!

great card…love the colors and of course, the kraft base:) fabbie pics!! I love m’s coat!!! She is such the fashion diva with her plaid pants and chucks :) Good to hear that J pooped..you crack me up!

So sorry you’re doing double duty, mama! I know it can be tough, but hopefully the girls will go easy on ya. :-)
Omgosh… my little guy had poopy issues too! He regularly took powdered fiber in his food & drink, and couldn’t eat certain things. It was the most painful experience in my life to watch him go through that… and I’ll leave it at that. I’m glad Baby J is doing much better. Keep us posted on her poop going forward! Lol… Hopefully she doesn’t go through that anymore. :-)
Your pics of M… stunning. Like they’re out of a magazine or something. Great lighting, great framing (or whatever you call it), great EVERYTHING! Again, I’m strongly considering you being my family’s paparrazi!
The card, beautiful. :-) I love red on kraft… so rustic and classy at the same time. :-)

Add a CommentIt’s only Tuesday and it’s already been a crazy week for me. I gave up my dream job yesterday… well, what would have been my dream job if I was not placed on a team lead by the most spiteful and unprofessional director. I’m not sure how to feel about it yet, I am sad because I did miss out on a great opportunity, but I am relieved because it would have never worked out working for her anyway….. I think a trip to the punkin patch and 4 dozen donuts would do me a world of good right now! Those photos are beautiful and the card is adorable! I’m glad Jovie is feeling better. Hang in there Super Mom!
Add a CommentYour card is gorgeous and your little girl is even more gorgeous!! Awesome pictures!! Thanks so much for visiting me and leaving me some sweet love! :)
Add a CommentHello super mum! I enjoy reading your post! It never fail to make me laugh each time!
I didn’t know that poopy issue can be so painful until I witness it once. It’s my nephew. He hadn’t poop’d for a few days and when he finally did, he cried so loud that our neighbours from few blocks away could hear us. That is one experience that I hope I don’t have to go through again when I have children in future.
Add a CommentI love how simple and elegant the card is…:)
What a sweet little girl you have! Glad she finally pooped…it must be so uncomfortable!
