For My Girl

Just a little card for my M. She said I haven’t made her one in a long time.I used some digital paper by Karla Dudley: Play, from the DigiChick. Super cute set!! The stamp is PTI.
Okie, going out to trick or treat before M changes her mind. Which kid needs convincing to go get candies? Mine {::SMILES}.

This is a sticky, scroll down for latest post!
M got another sketch for you and this time our sponsor is: THE CUTTING CAFE!!!! Yeah (THANKS, Regina)! One big AND little crafter who wins sketch #3 will be able to pick something out from that store (if the winner is a little crafter whose mama is an awesome TCC DT, we have something else to mail out to you). On top of the AWESOME sponsors we also have their wonderful DTs joining us to share some lovely inspirations. Scroll down below to see who they are and what they created based on M’s sketch!!
Before I get to the sketch and samples from M and DT (aka mom) I want to share this Tweet (M visited my work Wednesday):
Me: I need to clean my office. It looks like doodoo.
M: Yeah, it does.
A few folks replied to me and claim to have THE messiest room. Anthonette Chavez said we should have a contest and so this is where this messiest room idea came about.
For this week post your wonderful project (card/scrapbook/etc.) using M’s sketch AND/OR post a picture of your messy desk/room. Next week M will pick her favorite cards as always but the rooms, I will compile THE top 10 messiest ones and you all will get to vote on which room is THE messiest room. There will be a wonderful prize (ha ha… to add on to your MESSY room)!
Ok, here’s the sketch…
Our cards:
See, M in action! She was inspired by Becca (the winner of sketch #2) who took her own photos. Thanks Becca!!!
And mom’s card… super simple! Scraps of paper from who know and a digital paper from Sweet Shoppe.
The coloring I did with Copics and M’s were with gel pens. The images were printed on card stock from Office Depot on my laser jet printer. Nothing smudged from the coloring.
This was the image set we used:
And the wonderful DT who are playing along this week are (THANKS gals!!!):
Deadline: Friday, Nov. 6th by 11:59 p.m.

Hey gals, Jovie’s sick and so I don’t have a lot of hands right now. She just wants me to hold her and so here’s me typing with one hand. She has a fever, 101 is the highest, but still nursing.

And the big winner is:
Congrats, Amy!!! She loves the pink and the idea that you can put candies in there. That was exactly how M chose her favorite. Actually there was a tie between Amy’s, Sarah’s, and Ashley’s but the candies got her he he…
The little winner is:
It’s Becca’s card! Now Becca did this card herself AND took the photograph! Isn’t she just too cute? Go check her out and congratulate her!!
Now, I know mama has no say in this but my favorite this week’s is Maile’s. So so cute!!!!
Congrats ladies and to Becca’s mommy, please email me your addy so that I can mail Becca her prize!!! Amy, your prize will be emailed to you!

Ok, this is the last of this series. To watch the previous two, just go up to the Digi Tut menu option and check them all out there.
This is just a short little post. I am behind in lots of stuff, including blog hoping — even my PTI blog hop I’m still in process of cause I keep getting interrupted by the Jove. She’s been all about mom lately. No dad or M. Just mom. It’s flattering but goodness, I can’t even go pee without her screaming her head off… if she’s awake that is. I guess I can take her with me to the bathroom but that just seems wrong ya know. She use to be content to just swing while I cook or whatever but not lately. She has been though eating. She started that last weekend. She finally got rid of her tongue thrust and actually wants to eat. Babies, they’re so smart. It’s amazing. They tell you when it’s time.
Home with the Jove

Hi! You’re prob. sick of seeing Christmas cards from me, huh? I was going to do something else but I saw this piece of ornament that I cut a week ago when I was testing out my die-cut creation and didn’t want to waste it. The colors of my card’s a bit fall-ish but hey, Christmas doesn’t have to be red and green with some white and a ho ho ho {::SMILES}.
The pattern paper’s My Mind’s Eye, card stock from SU, the ribbon’s Martha Stewart’s and the sentiment is my good ol handwriting — not a print out, just fresh black ink on white card stock.
So I’m home with Jovie. We’re not sick. Just home cause it’s her daycare lady’s birthday today and every year she takes the day off. Good for her! I have a lot of vacation time anyhow and so why not. I thought I was going to be able to lounge around all day but I actually did work this morning. I broke a WordPress blog — a work one — when I updated the software last week. ALWAYS the same one too! URGH! But a day and a half later it’s up and running again. Wuih!
Well, I should go. Jovie should be waking up soon and I got to eat. Laters!
