M and My Pages + Card

Emma's card

Nice day! Although I didn’t do much around the house I was quite productive. I worked from home a bit and crafted with Miss M. I don’t have to go in until another 5.5 more weeks but there were a few emails that I had to take care of and so I put in a few hours today. I’m surprised I could do all that considering Jovie was up between 4-6 a.m. due to a poopie diaper change (usually we don’t change at night, I just use a big diaper for the whole night… learned my lesson with M). Plus I didn’t sleep until 2 a.m. which that was my own fault cause I was too into shoes at Zappos (checking out boots for when we go  to England) and camera lens + bag for my Nikon. I think I’m going to get the Crumpler 4 Million for my day trip bag and the bigger one for the rest of my crap. My friend has the bigger bag which is nice but when I go on day trips I don’t usually just have one lens with me and her bag is too big. The lens I want is this 18-200mm. It’s spendy but next month I’ll have enough saved up. Plus lens prices are like gas prices, they go up and down and I’m waiting for it to be on the low end (it’s $50 difference between yesterday and today!).

What do you think of our M and mommy craft day? I think M’s work looks better than mine! Check out her card, the owls are on a surf board. Her own idea. Love it!! The card’s for grandma, my mom. I’m sure she’ll adore the card! All the paper trimming she did herself. So proud of her!!!

My page was inspired by One Little Word: Why. I’ve had these pictures for awhile but never got to using them. I couldn’t find a good title except for the obvious: Cupcake Making Time {::SMILES}. Again pretty simple layout using My Mind’s Eye paper and some hybrid goodies from The Digichick, Just Breathe paper, and Mira Designs.

Love your work Savitri… You’re one of my all time faves!

Do you know, I have been searching for that MME paper! I was trying to avoid buying online (just realized how much I pay for shipping these days!), and my LSS is completely out of it! :-(

LOVE M’s card! She looks pretty proud herself, too! ;-) Fun day.
