Yes, my SIL is facing the same situation now. Her eldest daughter is only 3 years old when she gave birth to her 2nd child. When the baby is in her tummy, we would tell Chloe (her eldest) that the baby belongs to her. And that she has to take care of him when he's out from mummy's tummy. I guess she's too smart and she knows that the baby will eventually get more attention from us. You know what she did? She pinched the baby and there's one time she pushed him and hit the table corner. My SIL was so upset. But Aidan (the youngest) is already 18 months and started to bully the sister back. How cute! Not to worry so much, Savitri! M will eventually accept the fact and she'll be a good sister to Jovie :)

I'm impressed that M could express her feelings so clearly to you. Most kids will be in a funk and we have to figure out why. It sounds like you are doing what you can to make her feel special. There will be some adjustment time for everybody.

oh no! poor M. I know how M feels, haha. I clearly remember when my mom had my young sis, I was about 5-6yrs old. I remember crossing my fingers that my mom would have a baby girl so i could play with her. And then I remember feeling anger against my parents for having her, haha. It still hasn't changed, hehe, somewhat (partly because I was the only girl in the whole entire fam for 3 generations, so that was a bummer at first) ;D But it sounds normal. And you two handled it well, fun activities will help. I really can't say much from there, I dunn have kids.

About the flowers, I dunn think I could have used them any better, haha. They look gorgeous on your LO! what a neat idea to place them on branches! how fun! I wish someone would pay to get them, hehe. (BUG HUG)
