The Poo Story…

Before the story, here’s my card using Kristina’s colors for this week. Just something quick and simple. I need a few thank you cards to give to all sorts of people, from friends to the folks at the hospital. With baby I can’t spend an hour working on a card so here’s my simple creation from today:
My poo story… I think there should be a note on every onsies: Take cautious when unbuttoning. Without much care, poo can literally propel from the buttons on to your face, clothes, arms, and wall.
The poor husband. He’s been a great sport. A lot better than when M was a baby. Hubby’s been changing poopie diapers like a champ, until the other day. His poopie phobia came back. He was screaming for me to come into the room. When I got there he was running around in circles and said: Hurry, hurry, hurry, I got shit on my face. I thought he was kidding and when I realized he was for reals, instead of being a great sympathetic wife, I laughed my ass off. Ahh… the joy of parenthood {::SMILES}.
He’s recovered but now he’s taken extra caution when changing Jovie’s doodoo he he he…

Fabulous simple card! and a hilarious ‘poo’ story, I have one similar that involves my husband too!

Add a CommentLOL! Oh my goodness… but wait, it’s not just the onesies! Beware of the bloomers too! Yup… I can remember it as clear as day… As I pulled the bloomers from around Syd’s ankels, they popped back flung a nice Cindi Crawford mole onto my face. It was great. lol! Ahhh the wonderful memories of parenthood. :-D

I am laughing out loud! That is hysterical! Jack used to always complain that he got poo on his finger. I remember one time when Hailey was a baby, I said (only a LITTLE sarcastically) “NO you don’t! You are always making excuses just so you won’t have to change dirty diapers!” That was when he put his poo covered finger in my face. Ewwww!!! Gross!! I yelled at him to go wash his hands. I wasn’t very sympathetic either. I told him from then on to use a WIPE. Duh!
BTW- your card is super cute! Everyone thought I was nuts when I was still crafting, but it kept me sane when the sleepless nights really kicked in!
Add a CommentHahahaha…. poor guy! Although if that happened to my hubby, I’d LMAO too. There’s no way I couldn’t!
I was actually talking to my friends about what happened to your hubby and they said when they had to change diapers they would position the kid so that its sideways (hope that makes sense). Maybe that would be a good tip for your hubby :)
