CP #15

I’ve been wanting to do a CardPatterns’ challenge in a while but 15 sketches later I finally have the opportunity. Again I used the same stamps from Inkadinkado. I promise this is the last one for a little while. Due to my inability to move around much (just HURTS!) I’ve only been making projects using whatever’s within arm’s reach. Next time I’ll grab a different stamp set from the closet before I plop myself down {::SMILES}.

Today I feel so much better. I hope it stays until I pop the baby out or at least until Sunday. I have a wedding to go to Saturday in the city and we’re also going out to lunch for hubby’s bday — our favorite SUSHI!! The bad wife me… I still have NO gift!!! I have no idea what to give him… he hasn’t had any wants lately (he only wants baby to hurry up and come out so that I won’t be in so much pain) and he’s got enough car parts to last him a while (for Jane, the ’62 Impala) – plus he’s as picky with his car stuff as I am with my crafty goodness. A GC is the only thing I can think of. This way he can buy himself THE perfect tool or something. We’ll see. He’s been SOOOO awesome, even cooked all week, and I do want something special. Ahhh….

gorgeous take on the CP sketch Savitri….hmmmm…what you mean to say is that you don’t have a gift for the hubby because you work better under pressure :)

this card is great, i love the collage effect. whenever i struggle with a gift idea i come up with the best idea at the last second… surely the same will happen for you!

Savitri, this is gorgeous!! You always pack so many gorgeous things on your cards yet they look so clean and simple. How do you do it?!?!

Love the colors here. Hope you stay pain-free through the weekend. And yes, GCs are always the way to go with the hubbys. I learned that a while ago. LOL

Savitri, I can’t imagine the pain you must feel on an hourly basis. That’s terrible. I can hardly wait for your little one to be born too! I was lucky, I didn’t feel too bad towards the end of my pregnancy. I suffered a little the last 2 weeks with swelling in my right leg. I had normal aches and pains, but now what you describe.

Gorgeous card! I love the distressed edges….I forget to do that. Have a good one. My head is pounding…I should be in bed. Nighty, night!
