Lazy Weekend

Hmmm… I have nothing to say, ha! I did but my brain just quit on me (hubby and M kept telling me I have preggo brain). But here’s a card for Kristina’s color challenge #50: brown, red, turquoise, yellow, and white. I love the colors. It’s funny too, I did this color combo just recently too: Mother. I used the same pattern paper for this card, a digital paper by Matahati Designs: Girly Girl. The rest, just bits of things that were on my table: American Craft Moda Bella paper (the yellow leaves) that I trimmed out and chipboard, SU ribbon and stamp set (which I then punch with Martha Stewart’s butterfly punch), pin from Scarlet Lime, beads, rick-racks, Cuttlebug dot template, and PTI sentiment.
This is a card for hubby’s friend who is getting married next month but I might make another one for the occasion. It seems too busy and I don’t know them. The invite we received was simple so I might just save this for somebody else and create something more elegant and simple. What do you think? Hubby hasn’t seen this but he’ll probably agree with me.

I love this card! Gorgeous as always! I love your recent scrappy pages too! Your little M is just too cute! Oh, and I totally can identify with your “butt” incident with your hubbie. Mine always just stares at me with the “there is no good answer to that question” look. Gotta love ‘em!

Add a CommentLike everyone else, I think this card is amazing. However, what I really want to comment on is your statement that “he (hubby) will probably agree with me.” Ha! By now, we all know you have the most amazing husband. Since you are 8 months pregnant and an incredible spitfire . . . if he’s smart (which he is) and he knows what is good for him (and he does), he better agree with you! :-)
Add a CommentThis card has so many wonderful details! You rocked this card out. Great job on the color challenge.
