Sweet Hi

It’s Monday!!! Here’s another 2Sketches4You card based on Kazan’s sketch #23. Fun fun sketch! It’s got a lot of possibilities!! This week’s sponsor is Sakura America. I love their embossing pen. So cool. You write, it’ll be on clear, and when it dries the ink will puff up and give your card a wet emboss effect. LOVE it!!! The sweet and hi were written using my personal Sakura pens. You can’t see the raised text but they’re there.

This card was created using digital items. I downloaded this from Scrap Orchard, a kit by Matahati Design: Vintage Charm. Lately I’ve only been downloading digi kits that have a lot of elements that I can layer on one page or kits with awesome printing possibilities. This is one… cute fairy, a tag, and the flower. The papers are great too, just like those you’d find at a scrapbook store. For these, I just opened the pattern paper (in .jpg format) and print. For the elements, I plopped them in Microsoft Word, resized, and print on one page (I always print more than I need… I share with M). So no, to play hybrid, you don’t need anything fancy like Photoshop although if you want a free image editor you can always download and installed Gimp.

Erm … could I have your way with colours, please? And ribbons? And papers?

And while we’re at it, could you please throw in your photography skills as well, your shots are always stunning…

Some people just have it all… (struts into the corner and sulks)

Thanks for all the eye candy, been oogling your blog again for ages…

Btw, what paper do you use for printing digis?

Hope lil’ TummyBug won’t give you too hard of a time.

    Hugs,
    Annika
