A Little Bookmark

For this bookmark I used one of my new Chatterbox stamps. Isn’t that butterfly cute? Love it! The whole set (Happy Day) is fun and I can’t wait to use them all.
This bookmark is for me. I love to read and I really don’t have a nice bookmark. I thought of making a digi one and laminate it but I wanted more texture so here it is. I Gesso’d the edges of the paper (digital paper by Cinnamon Designs) and inked it up a bit; I’m not sure if you can see that. The I used a Prima flower, some lace that I glued down with fabric glue (this thing’s awesome and they’re cheap – from Wally World or any craft store – FabriTac). Then using the fabric glue I glued the “remember.” I thought the sentiment’s appropriate since a bookmark’s function is to help you remember your spot.
K, gotta go. M’s harassing me. She wants me to get some pics for her to scrapbook. She’s been going at it like crazy and doing an awesome job. I should take some pics of her work sometimes.

What a FUN bookmark!!!! YES….please do photog some of m’s work!!!
