Kristina’s Color Challenge

Here’s mine for this challenge. Love the colors! It’s Riding Hood Red, Sahara Sand/Metallic (I chose the sparkly silver SU embossing powder), Very Vanilla, and Whisper White.

I did think of doing a Christmas card but instead I got this. The berries I cut out from a Making Memories paper and the button is from Rhonna Farrer’s Christmas pack. The ribbon was from one of the big craft stores and I did some paper piercing beside the embossing.

Today I got my turkey brined. I need to turn it over in the morning and then we’ll be cooking. It’s just the three, or four, of us. Our first Thanksgiving without company. I thought this would be our second but hubby reminded me that other one was Christmas.

Hope your Thanksgiving will be a great one. I think I will be out Friday. I’m not sure why since the stores I’m going for has no early bird sale; I think I’m just itching to shop and feel the festivities. M’s staying home with dad, whoopie! She loves to shop with me but she does get a bit impatient when she already have all her stuff purchased. It’ll be nice to just shop alone.

Happy Thanksgiving! It should be nice shopping on Friday. I may not get into the real hustle and bustle. I have not seen a sale with anything that I just have to have.

LOVE the elegant simplicity! your card is just beautiful! love the stunning red as the background – totally pops everything off the page! hope you got some good deals shopping today – i was going to go out but then decided not to and did some shopping online in my jammies – can’t believe how around the corner the xmas and bday party insanity is for me (6 family member bdays and 4 other bdays… ack!)
