My Garden

Here’s a page of my garden when it first started. It’s so nice then and now, due to my lack of knowledge, is half covered in weeds and grass. Since it’s been so hot, I haven’t had a chance to pull any out. So sad looking! I should take a picture of it so that I can have it next to this one except that page will be all messy, full of embellishments, to give it an overgrown look, ha ha! I wonder if there’s a weed digital kit, hee hee.
I used my Scarlet Lime kit again, June, for this page. I just used an itty bitty bit of my super gorgeous October Afternoon paper and I used the Cricut for the START and GARDEN and dimensionals. The rest are rub-ons (Heidi Swapp) and stickers (Making Memories – LOVE!!). I stamped “thanks” since it’s a page for my hubby who worked so hard getting my garden ready. If you’re wondering what’s around his neck… yes, Emma put that on him {::SMILES}.If you look really close, there’s a flight path under the butterfly. Usually I just wing it but for this, I outlined it first with a pencil.
It was a bit challenging to put the dimensionals under START but it was worth it. I hate flat pages. It just never looks right to me. The same with my cards, you might not see it well in the pics, most have dimensionals. Every time I find these babies on sale, I stock up.

Beautiful page! Love the letters from the Cricut and especially how you angled them and turned their direction! I get bad about lining everything up straight. I do agree with you on dimensionals, it’s a very rare card or page that doesn’t require some dimension!
