I Was Going to Make a Card

In the Meadow But just didn’t get the chance. Hubby was suppose to be on the 3-11p shift but it got changed and so we ended up watching the Bee movie instead of him working and us girls doing arts and crafts after dinner. The movie was entertaining but none that I’d buy. M was ok with it, it’s not as fun as Shrek.

So I have here a page, a digital page, created using Edeline’s Walk Through the Meadow kit which you can find at the DigiChick. It’s a huge kit and obviously a lot of fun for digi or hybrid (my transparent images from the other day’s page was also from this kit). I had to tell myself to stop, there were a few other items that I wanted to use. BUT, I wanted to create a layout that fits the title (made that, if you want a copy, let me know), make her kind of buried by all those beautiful elements. There are SOOOO many beautiful things around me but as a mom, guess which is the most beautiful? {::SMILES}. I know, I know. I should prob. quite making “beautiful” theme pages of M. She might grow up with a huge head. Oh wait, she already has that {::SMILES}. She was born with it… we had to go to the hospital to make sure that it’s all brain in there. The doc was a bit worried. Poor baby, they had to drug her when she was just months old because she couldn’t stay still in the machine. Well dang, what did they expect?

What do you think, too busy? I got too elements happy?

This is one great thing about doing digital pages, you buy one or two complimenting kits and you can go buck wild on elements whereas on paper, unless you have the $$ or you get a lot of great freebies for being a DT, it does get a bit spendy.

I’ll be out these next few days. Conference in the city. I hope to stop at Archivers after on one of the days, it’s on the way. Got a coupon and oh, I’m so tempted to stock up on some American Craft goodies – NEW from CHA. I have to remember to pick up my dry cleaning too. I dry clean in the suburb of KC for $3.25/ea. So much cheaper even though I might not come back until three weeks later. Hee…
