I Love Quickies!

What Can I Say I did this page in five minutes. For reals!! I mean come on, look at it, how long can pasting what you see on that page take, right?

I took this picture a few months ago while we were messing around outside. I was actually suppose to take pictures of hubby who was up on our steep roof fixing up the little bit of siding that was blown away but I got distracted. It always ends up like this though. He’ll ask me to take his picture doing something “cool” or a picture of his ’62 Impala project and I’d do it, take a handful of shots, but in between, I’ll probably have 20-30 pics of M. Ha ha!

Material: Bazzill, Tinkering Ink, American Craft and Making Memories.

So for those who thinks it takes too long to scrapbook, try this layout out. It’ll probably take you longer to pick out a picture than to actually put this together {::SMILES}.

What a Monday! After work we went to M’s director’s farewell party. One of the parents own a bar/restaurant with a nice outside patio and with the weather being so nice, great company, and the kids having a great time too (M’s two best friends were there) we all had a blast. Before we knew it, it was 10:30 p.m. WOW, past hubby’s and M’s bedtime!!

It was so interesting watching three, all only child, girls play. Each one are bossy and quite the individual on their own but they manage to play so well and they each somehow managed to take turns being the boss and being the follower. They’re all super cute too. Fun, fun, fun!

Wow! This is gorgeous! I don’t know how you take the simplest things and slap them down in 5 minutes and they look stunning! Maybe it’s your gorgeous daughter. I struggle for hours on scrapbook pages, grrr! lol!

Savitri – you have totally inspired me to get back into scrapbooking – that’s actually how I started – I never thought about making cards – let alone blogging – but somehow in the sheer excitement of discovering the absolutely addictive world of cardmaking, my scrapbooking has gotten left in the dust…. BUT, I love the sweetness and simplicity of your layout with your daughter and I was like, hey – that is awesome! I need to get back on it! Thanks so much for the shot of inspiration – love your stories too! How’s your Wednesday going? Did you guys really have a tornado thing there?

You’re right – she’s BEAUTIFUL! Love this picture of your darling daughter. :) I’m finally catching up on your blog; I’ve been working too much and haven’t had time to peruse! Question for you: When you create a digital scrapbook page, do you ever print it in 12 x 12 format? If so, do you have a special printer that does that or do you have someone else print it? Thanks!
