Our Weekend

Anyhow, I wanted to do something in my craft room since I just purchased the Making Memory precision paper trimmer with my 40% off Hobby Lobby coupon. I also needed to use some of the hybrid items that I printed out a week ago. From all the above, I came to this page. The hybrid products were printed on one piece of transparency except for the rainbow. The transparent items were from Edeline’s kit at the DigiChick. You can see more details pics in my Flickr gallery. Just click the image above and you’ll see two other close-ups in there.
This weekend had been a great one. We, hubby and I, just returned from Independence, MO. It’s our anniversary tomorrow, our fifth, and we decided to celebrate this weekend. M stayed with some great friends of ours (THANKS, Guen!) and we got ourselves a place at a super nice b&b called the Hawthorn. The owners there were very sweet too and the breakfast was yummy and huge. We had no schedule, the only thing reserved was the b&b. Actually we spent most of our time at the Independence square. We went to an ice cream shop, the first place that President Trumann worked at (he’s from Independence), had dinner at Ophelia’s (out fish was really good), and went bowling. I scored better in bowling too! We played two games and the first time around I got a 54 and the second a whooping 70! We had tons of fun though!! It was really great because it’s been a while since we’ve gone to a public bowling alley and there’s no smoking! I forgot that KC has gone no smoking. It’s AWESOME!! Today we checked out Truman’s home and just walked around downtown again.
It was also nice to be offline for a little while too (WordPress’s ability to pick when to publish is so nice) and just spend the time with hubby. M had a great time too… actually the little turd was disappointed that we came and got her. I guess we came too early, she was to watch Little Einstein with our friend’s baby after nap time. Ahhh…. Anyhow, have a great one! More later!!!

Glad you had a superb weekend and happy aniversary to you and hubby…Totally forgot about my promise. Shame on me! Tell M sorry and that we’ll watch the movie next time.
