The Bad and the Good

I am, again, hi on caffeine. Didn’t I say I wasn’t going to do anymore late night coffee drinking? Oh well… I had Wednesday night card night with my upline. Had a fabulous time and I’ll share those cards with you later.
Right now, since it’s almost 3 a.m., I just want to share this one that I did using Kristina Werner’s colors: rose red, regal rose, sage shadow, and whisper white. I LOVE these Giggles Thickers. So so cute!!
Material: Paper from Stampin’ Up!, ribbon is a Martha Stewart line, font is American Craft and the word “you” is my own original {::SMILES}.
I like the card above… that’s my submission for this challenge but before I got to that, I had to arrive at this first (a disaster, btw). I thought I’d color ya know. So I used my SU water colors, blender pen, and my markers for the leaves. I like the flower. BUT, when it came time to plopping it on the card, it looked horrible. So, since I already worked hard on the flower, I went ahead and glued it one with dimensionals on rose red paper. Nothing looked good for the sentiment so I had wrote it. I don’t like it. It looks weird.
Ok, coffee wearing off… plus I have to get up in 3.5 hours. I do well under little sleep though… I know that one day it’ll catch up to me. One day, but not today, ha!
Have a great day everybody! More later!!!

Howdy from Texas! I Love them both!

Add a CommentVery cute cards! Yes, I like your hand-colored flower too! Your hand-writing is so good, love that touch on the “hi” card!
Add a CommentI think both of these cards are great. The coloring on your flower is excellent, in my opinion. I think I will have agree with everyone else, your handwriting is awesome!
Add a CommentWOW! Two very different cards, but they are both gorgeous! Cutting that flower out was genius!
Add a CommentVery nice. The Huge Flower Card is a scroll stopper. I just got this stamp with my preorder and have next to make anything with it. I love the way you’ve got it bleeding off the edge of the card. I will definitely be doing this in the future. Also I’d like to second Crystal’s comment, “your handwriting IS awesome!” Thanks for the inspiration.
Add a CommentSavitri – what the heck are you talking about – LOL – both of your cards are gorgoeus!!! I absolutely love the flower card – I have that stamp too and I have no idea what to do with it….now I can case yours – LOL!!! I’m gonna save it in my favorites – thanks girl!!
Add a CommentThe bottom one is not a disaster!! Don’t be so mean to yourself! But I do like the top one best, but that has nothing to do with you, I’m just not a fan of that flower stamp – you colored it beautifully!
