No More Margaritas for Me!

Yes, no more!

Hubby wanted to eat out last night. He’s been working on his car and I’ve been painting and thought eating out would be a nice treat. Since we both didn’t know where to go, we asked M and she said she wanted to go to the restaurant by McDonalds (my kid is so good… she didn’t ask for McD, he!) that has the yummy salsa. Ahhh… the Mexican restaurant I said and she said yes.

So off we went. While we were waiting for our food, hubby asked if I wanted a margarita. Ooooh, YES! So I got one. He took a sip and said, “wow, that’s a bit strong for you.” Uhm, sure enough. I was beet red before I got to the quarter mark and I was not feeling to hot by the time I got to the car. I was red everywhere, I think I looked like I had the measles. When we got home, I couldn’t move for a while. If I did, I think I would have ended up in the bathroom.

I have LOOOOOOOW alcohol tolerance. I heard that Asians are allergic to it, my doctor said something about it too. That’s why I’ve never gotten drunk before. I get really tipsy (usually after one strong drink) but not drunk. The drinks never stay long enough for me to get drunk. This is also why I’m many people’s favorite drinking partner back in the days… great designated driver! This is gross but one bottle of beer usually last me a whole 24 hrs. I’ll grab one at night and then finish it off, warm, the next day. Ha ha! Hubby hates it. Drinking a margarita in less than one hour was a bad idea! No more public drinks for me!!!

Stamp: Inkadinkado mini stamp
Others: Leftovers from who knows at my local scrapbook store
Glue: ATG and dimensionals
Tools: Scor-It, Cuttlebug, and Nestabilities
Ink: SU black and Copic

I trimmed the baby out and used dimensionals. It looks nicer than just stamping a flat image on the circle. I love this stamp company. A lot of minis and they stamp well too. Card size: 4.25×4.25. Quick and easy.

Adorable baby card! I love how you trimmed the baby out and popped it up on dimensionals.

I love me a good margarita. It may be just as well that you can’t tolerate them.

Love this sweet card! And that funny sentiment..so true! Funny story about your margarita! I do love the margaritas! I drink about one, about 3/4 the way through I’m enjoying a good buzz, then it’s ZZZZZ for me, so sleepy I conk out and can’t move!

You sound like me….LOL!!! I’m drunk after one too!!! I used to be able to drink much more before we had children and now it’s going straigth from my legs to my head – LOL!!!

I love the Margarita story and the Poo Happens sentiment! LOL! I have a way low tolerance too – its ridiculous – maybe its an asian thing? hmm. I love the card you made! It made me smile because my daughter who is 14 months is teething and has a sensitive tummy right now – so everything goes right thru her and into her diaper – so lemme tell you – around here – Poo happens ALOT! LOL!

That is THE cutest card. That little baby is SO cute! And Poo happens! heehee. Happily, I’ll never outgrow the giggles I get from potty humour. I have outgrown alcohol too. It’s no fun when it makes you feel lousy, but why do they have to make drinks taste so good? I think I’m going back to the Shirley Temples I loved as a kid, that and poo jokes, hahahahaha. Okay, so I loved the story…but maybe it was just me, but when I first saw the title, and then the pic of the baby, I totally thought you were preggers and thats why no more margaritas! :) I’m so dumb, its a good thing I read the story! Love your blog, I just found it through Kristina Werners! :)
