I took my exam Friday and I totally bombed it. I thought I did good too. But I guess it’s what I get for not studying. I really wanted to do well and study but I ended up making mailboxes and digiscrapping. The funny thing was, even my French instructor wasn’t really expecting me to show up that Friday morning for the exam. I walked in, just a tad bit late, and when he saw me, he started looking for an extra exam. He didn’t make me a copy and to be honest, I was really debating on not taking the exam but last Wednesday one of my classmate said I should, at least just to see how much I know. Ha ha… yeah! I know nothing, ha ha… Well, good thing I’m just auditing it.
Today I got my big order of Stampin’ Up! Yeah!! I now have seven stamp sets to play with, well, maybe just six since one is an alphabet set. I got to ink one today, the Always set. I love it and I can’t wait to make more stuff with it. The bird is gorgeous and I do have plans for this bird to be in my scrapbook page. We’ll see. I have also been into stitching. I just can’t do a card without some sort of holes on them lately. I really have no style but I have trends. Now it’s the stitching. Before it was the ribbon — everything had a ribbon. I still love ribbons but I try to not plop a ribbon on each project. For this card, I used Apple Cider (leftover) DP, real rust, and river rock. The ink, I used real red, really rust, and black. It’s for my hubby, his v-day card.
The project that I was working on yesterday, and will be working on for the next few days, are M’s cards. V-day cards for her little friends. The names of her friends have been Photoshop’d (I used the healing brush tool). For those who have been reading my blog, my daughter’s name is Emma but we call her M. I wasn’t trying to be discrete with her name, it’s just how I call her, Little Miss M. I was afraid that she’s start spelling her name “M” but so far, she knows what her name is suppose to look like and how to spell it. Me on the other hand, I want to do an altered letter for her, just the first letter of her name but I keep wanting to get an M and not an E. So since I can’t do that, just would confuse her, I’m going to do her whole name. It’s short and by doing that I’d get to do an M. Wow, maybe I’m just crazy about the letter M!
Love your cards, Savitri! I love the set on the first card! So pretty! Your Valentines are adorable and I’m sure that M is excited about them. Sorry that you failed the test, but it sounds like it was not critical!
