Alter Your Elements/Alphas

Posted by Savitri

Maybe you bought an awesome kit and if you’re like me, you either want to use it with something else but the kit or you bought the alpha because you loved the shape but not really the pattern. In this tutorial I want to show you how you can alter the pattern on your elements/alphas. Keep in mind that there are many ways of doing this. What I’m sharing with you is my favorite way of doing it. Until I find a problem with it, it’ll always be my favorite way because I think it’s quick and easy and when I was nursing or holding the baby back in the days, I could do all this with one hand (HA!). In this video you will also see the use of the CTRL(Command)-click feature (if you’re holding a baby, put the baby on your lap first right before you do this). If you haven’t used it, try it out, it’s pretty cool {::GEEKY GRIN}.

Also, I do want to create more tutorials but I’m always struggling to find out what it is you want to know. Usually I create a video as a visual reply to somebody’s post on one of the scrapbook/card forums just because I have the means to do it but since it’s something I’d like to do on a regular basis, I need some ideas. So if you can help me out. That’d be great. I only have CS2 on the PC and PSE4 and CS3 on the Mac so those three apps are the ones I can do. If I see a good student deal on PSE6 I’ll add that to the list too.

Thanks for another great tutorial! I am going to think about what I would like to learn then get back to you with a tutorial wish list.
