I made this for a friend of mine. Which and what for I won’t say in case she checks my blog {::smiles}. This was a fun card to make. Again I’m using my new papers from SU: Dashing. I love the colors and even though it seems really Christmasy, I’m finding that the feel can be altered depending on how you use the paper. For example with a bit of sponging, the stamp set, and the purpose, I made a card that feels nice and warm instead of holiday-ish. Least that’s what I feel. You tell me

Material:
Paper: All SU with Dashing pattern paper
Ink: Chocolate chip, Celery, and Real Red
Accessories: Ribbons
Method:
I sponged the sentiment with Chocholate Chip first then dabbed the Celery on top of it. The Wasabi and the Dashing paper I just sponged with Chocolate Chip. After all that sponging, I taped the Wasabi on top of the Dashing paper then glued the ribbon on top of both the two pieces of paper and tucked the two edges under the Dashing paper. I made sure that when I glued the ribbon on top of the paper I don’t glue where the ribbon ties will be. Then I glued the sentiment on and finally stuck everything on the paper. I thought doing it this way made everything stick better. Last but not least, tie the two ribbons ties, red and grow, on.
Hi Savitri,
Add a CommentI really like this card- great colors and I’m totally jealous of your square knot skills - mine look like triangles LOL. Very warm and friendly. Nice work!
so true….this doesn’t look christmassy at all….like the torn edge on the sentiment.
